Websites have cookies just like ogres and onions have layers.  I don't know exactly what they do or why they are necessary. I am an author not a web designer. Whatever information is taken - I do not have access to it. If I did, I would not sell it or use it to harm you. 

I host this site on the reputable platform: GoDaddy.com. I trust them to be good stewards of your information just like I trust them to be good stewards of mine. 

I do believe there are options in your browser that help you control access from websites like mine on your end if you want more control.
